Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 with Jelly Bean OS

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung is so quicker in introducing smartphones from lower budget to highly expensive ones. Within a short period of time, Samsung has come up with many smartphones ranging from the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite to the Samsung Galaxy S3. Eventhough there was a hysteresis caused by Apple, Samsung has not lost hope. It is working continuously to step forward towards growth in both economy and fame. As a result, Samsung has launched Galaxy Note 2 which is released as the second version of Galaxy Note N7000 on 27th September, 2012 at 2.30pm.

Design

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Size
Samsung has not changed the pattern it is following in most smartphones. This may become a setback for Samsung in the future. It has the same home button located at the bottom with the touch sensitive back key and the options key located at the sides. The volume key is present at the left leaving the power/lock key at the right side. But, unlike the previous versions, Galaxy Note 2 is given a superior finish which looks better than other models. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is still a bigger smartphone similar to the Galaxy Note. Samsung has increased the height of Galaxy Note 2 when decreasing the width and depth compared to Galaxy Note. Decreasing the width and depth is really a good idea which provides a good grip in the hand. The size of Galaxy Note 2 N7100 is 80.5 x 151.1 x 9.4 measured in mm.

Performance

To show the superiority, Galaxy Note 2 is outfitted with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Also the 1.6 GHz Quad core processor helps the mobile giant to perform multiple tasks without any delay. Coming with a 3100mAh battery, Galaxy Note 2 nears the battery capacity of Motorola RAZR Maxx. However, Galaxy Note 2 cannot be assured to give the battery performance of RAZR Maxx as the Motorola device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and is proved to fail in battery when upgraded to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. As Galaxy Note 2 N7100 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean it may really drain a lot more battery.

Display

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Display
As Galaxy Note 2 N7100 has increased height, the display size has also a good raise leading to a 5.5 inch HD super AMOLED capacitive screen. With the larger screen onboard, the mobile also stands ahead with the 1280 x 720p display resolution. The advanced S Pen also helps to do miracles on the display screen including the handwriting detection.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Camera                The camera doesn’t have anything to talk much as it doesn’t outperform Galaxy NoteN7000. Galaxy Note 2 N7100 has an 8MP rear camera supported by a LED flash to take clearer images at dim light. There is the auto-focus feature included with the camera to take perfect images without any blur. The secondary camera or the front camera is 1.9MP thus allowing the user to have good quality video chat.

Memory

Samsung Galaxy Note is available in three versions 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with an external memory slot which can be used to increase the memory upto 64GB. It also features a 2GB RAM to decrease the response time greatly. Again Galaxy Note 2 proves the superiority with the expandable memory and the RAM.
